Back in October 2021, I wrote in Psephology Today about the coming explosion in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for copywriting, and detailed six AI tools that can be used for political copywriting.
I’d learned about this at a presentation by professional marketing consultant Perry Belcher at the Traffic & Conversion Summit in San Diego. Perry’s an “early adopter” of using AI and probably knows more about this subject than 98% of us in the general public.
“Look, there is a MAJOR cleansing coming,” Perry writes. “ChatGPT is just the tip of the iceberg of the automaton tsunami that's coming quick, fast and in a hurry. 100,000,000 users already.”
Well, Perry’s going to be hosting a 3-day conference on how to get the most out of AI in Las Vegas on April 3-5, 2023. I’ll be there. Already registered. Hope some of you can make it as well.
But even if you can’t – and even if you have no interest in AI whatsoever – I highly recommend you read Perry’s sales letter promoting the event anyway. Why?
One, you’ll learn exactly what AI is and how it can be used in your business or campaign in common, non-technical language for the Average Joe. But two, you’ll read a masterpiece of a sales letter that’ll give you a lot of great ideas on how to write fundraising letters/promos for your own events and campaign.
One of the bigger problems in running a business or a campaign is trying to figure out who really knows what they’re talking about who’s full of bullsh*t and rainwater. There are a LOT of posers and know-nothing grifters in politics who are happy to suck your wallet dry with little in return.
Well, I had dinner with Perry and conservative direct mail fundraising legend Richard Viguerie last month. The education I got at that dinner was priceless. Perry’s the “real deal.” He doesn’t just talk a good game; he plays the game at the All-Star level.
His 3-day conference will be worth its weight in gold. And April in Vegas is a wonderful time of year!
FAMOUS LAST WORDS
“Even if you don't know how to write copy, design web pages, create graphics, or conduct deep research, AI tools and robotics tools can handle it all for you. There is nothing left to hold you back.” – Perry Belcher
