Remember when having a website was optional? Then one day it wasn’t. This is one of those moments.
Too many candidates treat AI like a shiny new toy. They use it to write a Facebook post or clean up an email and call it a day.
That’s like buying a pickup truck and only using it to carry groceries. You’re missing the point.
Winning campaigns aren’t about working harder. They’re about moving faster than the other guy.
That’s true for raising money, recruiting volunteers, earning media, and persuading voters. The campaign that gets there first usually gets the prize.
Think about it. If you can write a fundraising letter in an hour instead of a day, that’s more time asking for checks.
If you can crank out voter emails, volunteer texts, and social media posts in minutes instead of days, you stay in front of your opponent instead of chasing him.
Here’s the catch.
AI won’t save a lousy campaign. If your message stinks, it’ll just help you spread bad messaging faster.
Garbage in. Garbage out.
So stop asking whether you should use AI. Start asking whether your opponent already is.
Because in campaigns, second place is just the first loser.
